Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the MorseForge app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm deletion twice.
After confirmation, we delete your cloud data and sign you out. Local progress on your device remains unless you also reset it in Settings or uninstall the app.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the app, use the form below. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the deletion.
If the form does not open your email app, send a request to contact@morseforge.com with the same details.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You may keep your MorseForge account while deleting specific data. In the app, you can clear scratchpad notes and ink or reset learning progress from Settings. You may also use the form above and select Specific data only to request deletion of scratchpad data, learning progress, Direct QSO messages, feedback submissions, or another identified category of cloud data.
Describe the data you want deleted in Request details. We may verify account ownership before deleting cloud data. Deleting specific data does not cancel a subscription or delete your account.
Data deleted
- Account profile (email, username, display name, avatar).
- Practice history, stats, achievements, streaks, and analytics data.
- Story progress, endings, and ratings.
- Friendships, blocks, Direct QSO messages, and reports.
- Synced scratchpad text, raw ink, and recognition preferences.
- Push subscriptions and cloud sync records.
Data kept
- Local device data until you reset progress or uninstall the app.
- App Store / Google Play subscription records (managed by the stores).
- Support emails you send to us (retained as needed for support/legal reasons).
Retention and re-signup
Cloud data is deleted immediately after confirmation. Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 7 days before being fully purged. You can sign up again at any time, but deleted data cannot be recovered.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel active subscriptions. Please manage or cancel subscriptions directly in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
