Data Deletion Request

This page applies to the MorseForge app by developer Jacob McCaig. It explains how to delete your account and associated cloud data.

Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open the MorseForge app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm deletion twice.

After confirmation, we delete your cloud data and sign you out. Local progress on your device remains unless you also reset it in Settings or uninstall the app.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have access to the app, use the form below. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the deletion.

If the form does not open your email app, send a request to contact@morseforge.com with the same details.

Data deleted

  • Account profile (email, username, display name, avatar).
  • Practice history, stats, achievements, streaks, and analytics data.
  • Story progress, endings, and ratings.
  • Friendships and activity feed data.
  • Cloud sync records (daily stats, leaderboards, progress tables).

Data kept

  • Local device data until you reset progress or uninstall the app.
  • App Store / Google Play subscription records (managed by the stores).
  • Support emails you send to us (retained as needed for support/legal reasons).

Retention and re-signup

Cloud data is deleted immediately after confirmation. Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 7 days before being fully purged. You can sign up again at any time, but deleted data cannot be recovered.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel active subscriptions. Please manage or cancel subscriptions directly in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
